Rudolf A. Woykowski - Registered Investment Advisor with New York State

I graduated from William Paterson University with a B.A. in Business. Shortly thereafter, I accepted a position with Household Finance in their management-training program. After a couple of years I was offered and accepted a position with Houghton Mifflin Company, a college textbook publisher. I was the company's representative to colleges and universities in New York State, Vermont, New Hampshire, and parts of Massachusetts. Once my children were mostly out of college, I decided to take a position with UBS/PaineWebber as a broker. I passed the required exams to receive a Series 7 stockbroker's license and completed the Series 63 and 65 tests qualify as a securities and investment advisor.

I was a broker with UBS/PaineWebber from May of 1998 to June of 2003 before joining Capital Financial Advisors, a firm of CPAs who were also investment advisors. I served as a Partner there for three years before deciding to spin off and start my own firm. Capital North Advisors spun off on January 1, 2007 and is now a fee-based independent advisory firm.
